How Much Does It Cost?

The Gin Train costs £55.00/person with seats available in tables of 2, 3 & 4. A discounted price of £50.00/person is available for parties of 5 or 6 in private 1st class compartments.

When Is The Train Available?

The Gin Train generally runs twice per year (Saturdays). The train boards at 16:45 for a 17:00 departure. When dates become available, we'll provide a button below for you to view the dates.

How Do I Book?

Bookings are handled by our partners at the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway. When booking opens, we'll provide a button below for you to book.

Yes, this must be booked in advance. A link will be provided to book when dates become available.

Bookings can be made in groups of up to 6 people. A discounted rate of £50/person is available to parties of 5 or 6 people in private 1st class compartments.

The BKR volunteer team will allocate seats for this train in advance and will take you to your seat once you arrive at Bo’ness. Please advise them at least 1 week before departure if you wish to be seated with another group of friends and they will do our best to do so.

Unfortunately, the first class coaches are not wheelchair accessible. Please phone 01506 825855 to discuss available mobility assistance for this train.

Food may contain, or may have come into contact with, tree nuts, soybeans, peanuts, milk, eggs, wheat, or fish. Please advise us of any allergies, or dietary requirements, at the point of booking. Due to space constraints within the onboard kitchen we are unable to prepare any food to suit gluten free diets.

Unfortunately not. The Forth Valley Gin Train is only for those above the age of 18.
