We have partnered with a Scottish Rum Distillery to make a base white rum for us, we then re-distil the base twice through our own stills to refine the smoothness of the spirit and achieve the right level of molasses that we want.   On the second distillation we add in our chosen spices of ginger, nutmeg, lime, mango, vanilla pods and toasted Sichuan pepper, amongst a few others, but as with everything we make here at Linlithgow Distillery, there is no added sugar.

On the nose you get full Caribbean molasses with hints of sweetness from the vanilla and citrus from the fruits, but on tasting your taste buds are transported by the exotic fruit and spices which give a warm mouthfeel and incredibly smooth swallow. The aftertaste is citrussy and warm with a long caramel finish.
